About J&J Pest Control

We’re a service-area business based in Fresno. That means we come to you — across the county and the wider Valley — rather than running a storefront. When you call (321) 496-4080, you reach people who schedule and do the work, not a lead broker who hands your problem to an unnamed subcontractor. You’ll know who is coming and what it costs before anyone treats a thing.

Every job starts with an inspection, because treating the wrong pest — or just the symptom — wastes your money. We identify what’s there and the conditions feeding it, then give you a written scope and an itemized quote before any work begins. That directly answers the most common complaint about pest companies in Fresno: confusing, surprise billing.

We also look where problems actually hide. For rodents and termites that means the attic and the crawlspace, not just a quick spray around the perimeter. For ants and roaches it means baiting the colony at its source and treating the outdoor nest, so the trails don’t come back in a week. On recurring plans, our re-service guarantee means we return at no extra charge if covered pests show up between scheduled visits.

Fresno County is some of the most productive farmland in the country, and that shapes everything we treat. Irrigated yards and surrounding orchards feed enormous Argentine ant colonies; citrus and shade trees give roof rats a highway to the roofline; older wood eaves invite drywood termites; new block walls shelter black widows; and the canals and river bottoms drive a real mosquito and West Nile season. Winter is the Valley’s peak rat season, when cooling nights push rodents indoors. We time service to that calendar instead of reacting after the pests are already inside.

We use low-odor products applied to the label, keep baits in child- and pet-resistant placements, and favor trapping and exclusion over broadcast rodent bait, in line with California’s tightened rules that protect pets and wildlife. Structural pest control in California is regulated by the Structural Pest Control Board (SPCB), and we encourage you to verify any company — including us — on the SPCB license lookup before you hire. We’ll also tell you honestly when a problem can wait for a regular appointment and cost less, or when it genuinely can’t.

From Fresno we cover the whole county and the surrounding Valley — Clovis, Sanger, Selma, Kerman, Fowler, Madera, Reedley, Kingsburg, Hanford, Visalia, Dinuba and many more, plus the foothill communities and rural properties in between. See the full list of service areas, or browse what we treat.
